Privacy Policy

Effective 28 October 2026

This explains what Lawmaxxer collects when you play, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we keep only what the game needs, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

  • From Google sign-in: your email address, a Google account ID, and the name and profile picture Google shares. We use the email only to identify your account.
  • Game data: your display name, coins, wins, losses and draws, the moves and scores of your cases, objections and motions you file, and records of ads you watched to continue.
  • Technical data: our hosting providers log IP addresses, browser type and request times to keep the service running and secure.
  • On your device: your browser stores your sign-in session and your sound setting. We use no analytics or tracking cookies of our own.

Why we use it

  • to sign you in and keep your progress;
  • to run matches fairly and stop cheating (all scoring happens on our server);
  • to show the leaderboards;
  • to unlock your next case after an ad.

What other players see

Only your display name and your scores, on the leaderboards. Your email is never shown to anyone. If you never set a display name, you don't appear on the leaderboard.

Who processes it

  • Supabase stores accounts and game data (servers in Seoul, South Korea).
  • Vercel serves the website.
  • Google handles sign-in.
  • Ad networks (such as Google) show ads. They may use cookies or device identifiers to pick and measure ads, under their own privacy policies.

We don't sell your personal data, and we share it only with these providers to run the game, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and game history within 30 days. Hosting logs are kept only briefly by our providers.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent to us processing it, by emailing support@lawmaxxer.com from the address you sign in with. You can also remove Lawmaxxer's access in your Google account settings. Depending on where you live (for example under India's DPDP Act or the EU's GDPR), you may have further rights, including complaining to a data protection authority.

Children

Lawmaxxer isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Questions or requests: support@lawmaxxer.com.
